After treating yourself to a refreshing drink at the park's café, we will proceed to Antequera to explore its Dolmens, which date back 4,500 years. Here, we will meet our official guide for a two-hour tour of Antequera and its Dolmens. These Bronze Age burial chambers, constructed from massive stone blocks and cloaked in earth to create impressive mounds, are even older than the magnificent Egyptian pyramids!
Antequera is a charming historical town that is off the typical tourist path, showcasing an array of impressive buildings, churches, and a fortress that hark back to Roman and Moorish eras.
We will visit the Alcazaba, a fortress built by the Moors in the 14th century to protect themselves from the Christians. Afterwards, you'll have leisure time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (not included) before we head back to Córdoba.
