Mallorca is famous for its numerous caves, yet none can rival the Caves of Drach, celebrated as the most remarkable and iconic in the region. On this private half-day tour, we invite you to explore not only the most breathtaking but also the largest caves in Mallorca.
As you wander through the vast caverns of the Caves of Drach, you’ll be captivated by the stunning stalactites and stalagmites surrounding you. A highlight of your visit will be witnessing Europe’s largest underground lake, known as Lake Martel. Here, you'll experience an enchanting live classical music concert performed by musicians gliding across the lake in small rowing boats, creating an atmosphere of enchantment. Additionally, within the stunning natural amphitheater, you'll have the chance to witness a light show that beautifully mimics the moment of sunrise. To conclude your experience, you can opt to cross the lake in a rowing boat or take a leisurely stroll around its perimeter, soaking in the picturesque views.
Given Mallorca's reputation for exquisite pearls, we highly recommend a visit to the world-famous Majórica Pearls. You will learn about the intricate process of pearl creation and view some of the most iconic pieces of jewelry throughout history.
In the vicinity, you can also explore the impressive medieval defensive watchtower or relax at the charming beaches nearby. Alternatively, you might like to spend some time in the picturesque coastal village of Porto Cristo. And for sports enthusiasts, a visit to the renowned museum dedicated to tennis champion Rafa Nadal is an exciting option (note that entrance fees are not included in the tour price).

The Cuevas del Drach have been known since the Middle Ages and were explored in 1880 by M. F. Will, followed by E.A. Martel in 1896, who discovered the cave that houses the lake named after him. Between 1922 and 1935, the cave was adapted for visitors through the creation of a new entrance, paths, stairs, and, notably, the installation of electric lighting designed by engineer Mr. Buigas. The tour lasts approximately one hour, covering a distance of about 1,200 meters, and features a classical music concert as well as a boat ride across Lake Martel. Inside, the temperature averages around 21°C with a humidity level of 80%.
