Afterwards, we will visit "La Concepción" Castle
and enjoy the great panoramic views over the harbour from there.

along with the Roman Amphitheatre.
In Calle Mayor, the main street, we will explore the area and experience the newer side of Cartagena and its modernization.

We will then head to the coast region of La Manga, Mar Menor
known as a paradise between 2 seas
where you can relax and maybe enjoy some Tapas with wine before returning to Cartagena.

Information about Cartagena
First settled in 223 BC, by the Carthaginian general Hasdrubal the Fair, when his invading army marched into what was the Iberian settlement of Mastia, renaming it as Qart Hadasht.
