El Torcal National Park, known as Jurassic Park, is 250 million years old and was once underwater. Situated atop a mountain, it features stunning rock formations. During this day trip from Granada, you can choose from various self-guided walks, each offering breathtaking views. Good fitness and proper footwear are required.
After a drink at the park café, we’ll head to Antequera to explore its ancient Dolmens, dating back 4,500 years. Here, we'll meet our guide for a 2-hour tour of these impressive Bronze Age burial chambers made of massive stone blocks.
Antequera is a charming, often overlooked town with historic buildings and a fortress from the Roman and Moorish eras. We'll visit the Alcazaba, a 14th-century Moorish fortress, then enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant (not included) before returning to Granada.
This tour is suitable for all ages, though sturdy footwear and walking skills are needed for El Torcal. A short tarmac
