Mallorca renowned for lots of caves, but none of them can be compared to the Caves of Drach which are the most spectacular and famous in Mallorca. 
On this half day private tour, we will take you to not only the most stunning, but the biggest in Mallorca.

 At the Caves of Drach you will be amazed walking around the immense caverns, discovering the stalactites and stalagmites. During the visit, you will discover Europe’s largest underground lake, called Lake Martel. Here, you will be enchanted by a magical experience of a live classical music concert played by musicians who move on small rowing boats across the waters of this beautiful lake. 
Also, whilst still in the amazing setting of the natural amphitheatre, there is a light show which recreates the special moment of a sunrise. To give your visit a final magical moment, you will be able to cross the lake on the rowing boats. if you prefer, you can stroll around the lake and continue to enjoy the scenery.
As Mallorca is famous for its pearls, we recommend a visit to the world famous Majórica Pearls. There, you will learn about the difficult process of elaboration of the pearls and also see their most emblematic pieces of jewellery from throughout history
 
In the same area, we can also visit the spectacular medieval defensive watchtower or visit the area's many beautiful beaches. Another possibility could be spending some in Porto Cristo strolling around this pretty coastal village. And, if you are a sports fan, why not visit the world famous tennis player Rafa Nadal's Museum? (Entrance fee not included in the price).

Information about the caves of Drach
The Cuevas del Drach were already known during the Middle Ages and were explored in 1880 by M. F. Will and in 1896 by E.A. Martel, who discovered the cave containing the lake that bears his name.
Between 1922 and 1935 the cave was conditioned to be visited by opening a new entrance, building paths, stairs, etc. and, above all, by installing electric lighting designed by the engineer, Mr. Buigas.
The tour takes about an hour, the length being about 1,200 metres, and includes a classical music concert and a boat trip across Lake Martel. The temperature inside is about 21°C and the humidity 80%.
